STARS AND SPAS HEADLINE AT 2007 SYDNEY INTERNATIONAL BEAUTY EXPOReleased: 25 May 2007Celebrity make-up artist to the stars, Linda Jefferyes, is heading to Sydney to share her talent and expertise with Australia’s beauty professionals, at the country’s largest beauty industry event - 2007 Sydney International Beauty Expo, 11-12 August, Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre, Darling Harbour. After a highly acclaimed presentation at Melbourne International Beauty Expo held earlier this year, Jefferyes will make an exclusive appearance at the Sydney Expo on Saturday 11 August 2007, showcasing the tricks of her trade and revealing her many beauty secrets of the stars. Drawing on her experience as make-up creative director for Fashion Week 2007 on behalf of Alex Perry, Scanlan and Theodore, Alice McCall, Lisa Ho, Zimmermann and Collette Dinnigan, and working with the likes of Liz Hurley, Eva Longoria and Kylie Minogue, Jefferyes’ demonstration will explore the very latest trends and techniques in make-up products and applications. A number of other initiatives will launch at 2007 Sydney International Beauty Expo, including the new luxurious Platinum Spa Lounge, an elite area where visitors can take a look at the latest innovations in spa design and spa technology. Visitors can unwind in the tranquil spa environment and receive mini treatments to relax during their time away from the floor. The Nail Bar will be introduced in Sydney - an innovative new demonstration area featuring large plasma screens where visitors get a detailed view of the latest nail techniques and watch the artists hard at work. A brand new demonstration stage will also feature at the Expo where visitors can watch, learn and interact with the experts. This fabulous demonstration stage will feature full seating and live camera-to-plasma screens allowing visitors to watch and enjoy in comfort a variety of demos from leading industry exhibitors. |
