2008 SYDNEY INTERNATIONAL SPA & BEAUTY EXPO SEES WORLD FIRST IN SPA INNOVATION: REGISTRATION NOW OPEN!

The 2008 Sydney International Spa & Beauty Expo is fast approaching and we can expect a complete overhaul with a new name, an internationally exclusive spa area and a must see line up of local and international exhibitors this August.

Held at the Sydney Convention & Exhibition Centre, the Sydney Expo will unveil the exclusive Concept Spa – a world first, fully functioning luxurious spa promoting practical environmental sustainability solutions.

Concept Spa will include two architecturally designed treatment rooms demonstrating eco friendly solutions such as grey water usage, recycled fibres and the use of organic cosmetic solutions. The exclusive area also has Retail Zone which will showcase innovative designs, technologies and merchandising techniques.
“This is a world first in spa innovations and we are so proud Australia will be leading the way in presenting practical environmental sustainability solutions,” says Lauren Ebbeck, Exhibition Director, International Beauty Expo.

Concept Spa has been designed by renowned spa architects, Pike Withers who boast a client base of Cradle Mountain Lodge, Bedarra Resort and Qualia to name a few.
Sponsored by AsiaSpa, Spa Australasia, HyrdoCo, Pevonia Botanica, Li’Tya, Sothys and Dermalogica, Concept Spa features the latest corporate social responsibility strategies to save power, waste and water to effectively reduce the impact of climate change on the environment.
The innovative spa will show live treatment demonstrations and tours throughout the weekend.

This year’s Sydney International Spa & Beauty Expo will showcase over 100 Spa & Wellness exhibitors offering an insight to the latest products and treatments.
